This Brut rose is made from 100% sustainably farmed (40+ year-old) Pinot Noir vines from the Côte d'Or--a welcome contrast to most Burgundian Crémants that are sourced from the Mâconnais, Beaujolais and Côte Chalonnaise. It was made completely in tank to preserve its freshness and was aged on the lees 20 months before disgorging. This sparkler is crisp, vibrant and lively in the glass. It captivates with a fragrant nose of red berries mingled with hints of blood oranges that carry over to a well-textured palate where the berry impressions are joined by quenching inflections of red currants and citrus. With the recent price escalation of some our favorite Cali Brut roses this French fizz has become our hands down "go to" rose in the under twenty dollar price arena.
