Velho Barreiro is one of the most drunk cachacas in Brazil.
Due to the double distillation, it has a particularly delicate aroma.
Velho Barreiro DIAMOND Cachaca is a blend of selected cachacas produced according to the Alambique process. It is aged for at least five years in Jequitiba and oak barrels.
It is a limited special bottling.
Produced from sugar cane juice as with all Cachaca, it is double distilled before being aged in large oak vats for an unspecified time then blended and bottled in a delightfully old-school looking receptacle.
Tasting Notes,
Intense vegetal aroma, much more so than most Cachacas. Ripe marrow, lemon peel, green apple, and pear drops create a crisp and fresh aroma, a fantastic choice for sipping or mixing alike.
