Aged 32 months in new barrels and with just 250 cases made, it's well worth the extra effort to track down."

Deep garnet-purple in color, it has a powerful nose of baked plums, stewed blackberries and cassis with nuances of dried lavender and fallen leaves, plus a hint of cedar. Taut, firm and full-bodied in the mouth, the black berry layers deliver loads of savory accents, and it finishes on a persistent peppery note. 250 cases were made."
