This is still one of the best Italian reds we've found for the price. It just reinforces the reason why Montepulcianos are so popular, both in Italy and abroad! Umani Ronchi's pure, textbook wine has juicy sun-kissed red fruits like ripe red plum, tangy cranberry and Morello cherry combined with savory accents like Mediterranean herb and a dark earthiness. Mid-weight, but with a lot of bold Italian character, it has a dry and softly mineral finish, making it a fantastic food wine for many situations! Try it with moderately-aged cheeses and cured meats, meaty sauces and pizzas, and rich, peppery lentil soups. And don't forget the friends and family!

Great find!
This is a wonderful wine, great for large groups because of its affordability but also because I still feel good in the morning after drinking it!
