2 STARS PETER LEIM CHAMPAGNEGUIDE.NET - 'Les Roises is a parcel of 60-year-old chardonnay vines in Congy, and its clay-rich soils and south-facing exposure typically produce an ample, generously aromatic wine. The 2010 is a little more backwards at this stage than the 2009 was, emphasizing its firm structure, but it shares a similar texture and finesse, showing a superb focus and mineral-driven tension on the finish. Give this another year or two in the cellar, and it should gain even more complexity and depth. Last tasted: 11/14."
