Legend has it . . . Tuaca was based on a recipe created by Lorenzo De Medici in the 16th century for Italian nobles. The recipe was discovered and tweaked in 1938 by Geatano Tuoni and Giorgio Canepa and they named it Tuaca. Legend or no, Tuaca is delectable, and fit for all sorts of 'noble' purposes. Starting with excellent brandy and 'spiced' with a secret melange that includes citrus, vanilla and natural sugar, the flavors are rich vanilla, caramel, oak spice, creamy orange custard with cinnamon dusted on top. Enjoy the balanced sweetness of Tuaca in cider, tea, coffee, cocktails or food!
