ROBERT PARKER'S WINE ADVOCATE 95+ POINTS - "Grapes for the 2021 Pinot Noir Chehalem Mountain Vineyard come from two blocks of vines planted between 2002 and 2007. Matured for 21 months in 50% new French oak, it has a well of pure, layered aromas: crushed red and black cherries are accented by tones of blood orange, pipe tobacco, mossy bark and mushroom, and it continually unfurls as it spends time in the glass. The medium-bodied palate has a luxuriously velvety texture and vibrant acidity to support its concentrated fruit, and it boasts a long, detailed finish. It will benefit from 3-5 years in bottle and will be long lived. 225 cases were made."
