The careful whisky selection is a single European Hogshead cask from 1962, the year David C. Stewart started at the Distillery, yielding only 71 bottles to be sold globally from early 2023. A commemorative release, these extremely rare bottles mark the anniversary of industry icon and renowned Honorary Ambassador and Former Malt MasterMalt Master, David C. Stewart MBE, who in 2022 celebrated six decades at the Distillery – the longest serving Malt MasterMalt Master in industry history.
The packaging resembles a work of art; made from glass, gold and brass. The tube casing was designed to reflect layers of memories from David’s career. The bottle is the first to carry the signature of both him and our current Malt Master, Kelsey McKechnie.

Intense leather and oak aromas, as is to be expected of a whisky of this age; well-balanced with sweet floral aromas on the nose, layered rich toffee and oak on the palate.
