ORGANICALLY FARMED
Carricante & Catarratto, with Grecanico, Minnella, & Inzolia
This bottling is from both estate and purchased grapes, with much coming from the Northern slope, which is usually dedicated to the red varieties. Given the sunny Sicilian climate, but the typical altitudes (600-900 meters above sea level) and extremely volcanic soils of Mt. Etna, the bianco is medium-light bodied with a firm, broad acidity, ripe yellow-fleshed fruits, honey-perfumed blossoms, and a distinctive 'ashy' and saline minerality.
