Talisker 2011 Distillers The Talisker Distillers Edition bottlings are marvellous indeed. Delicious single malt from Skye, finished in Amaroso sherry casks? Yes please! This particular release was distilled back in 2011 and eventually bottled up in 2021 at 45.8% ABV. Expect smoky, coastal wafts with the soft sweetness of chocolate and dried fruit. Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt Nose BBQ charred pineapple, salted peanuts, sea shells, mint chocolate. Palate Dates and honeycomb, with underlying salinity and creamy malt. Finish Rum-soaked raisins, smoky oak, cinnamon.
