100% Cannonau
This is a delicious, easy-to-drink red like many of the Garnachas and Grenaches along the Mediterranean coastline. Here we're in the northeastern corner of Sardinia, in the sandy and gravelly granitic soils of Gallura, making for a unique expression of Cannonau. Youthfully primary and concentrated for its medium weight, with juicy cherry and vibrant raspberry and pomegranate along with fresh aromatic herbs, and just a touch of sun-kissed fruit skin and softly ripe tannins on the clean finish. It's sunshine in a bottle! Serve at a cool 58-60F.
