Square One Basil Vodka is new from a brand dedicated to creating organic spirits that take their lead from the complex flavor of herbs and vegetables rather than the simple, cloying, syrupy sweet flavors of candy, or cake. It is infused with four basil varieties --Genovese, Thai, Lemon and Sweet; to heighten, brighten and spice up the basil flavors hints of coriander, honeysuckle and lemongrass are added with scrumptious results. The aromas start at lemon balm, coriander, fennel, Thai Basil, anise, honeysuckle and modulate through a multitude of delicate spices. The flavors follow the nose vibrantly displaying mild anise, complex basil, white/green peppercorn, blossoms and citrus. The finish is a culminating restatement of all of scents and flavors in a spicy cleansing fade. This vodka is svelte, elaborate and sophisticated.
