SPRINGBANK GREEN 12YR 46% 700ML CAMPBELTOWN SINGLE MALT SCOTCH WHISKY

Springbank Green is one of two expressions from the distillery in the Campbeltown region introduced in the latter half of 2014. It is a 12 year old single malt Scotch whisky matured entirely in bourbon casks and bottled at a pleasing 46% ABV. The result is creamy and sweet with classic Springbank peatiness giving depth and a hint of coastal air. Springbank Green 12 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky Tasting Notes Nose: Intense aromas of stone fruits like peach are found on the nose and palate. Palate: The whisky is creamy without being too oily. Vanilla and maple notes coupled with the saline quality found in Springbank bottlings make a lovely sweet and salty whisky. Finish: Peat notes are very gentle throughout. Distillery Information The Springbank distillery is a family-owned single malt whisky distillery on the Kintyre Peninsula in western Scotland. It is owned by J & A Mitchell & Company, who also owns the Glengyle Distillery, the oldest independent bottler, William Cadenheads, and several blended scotch labels.
