History,
A very interesting 45 year old Craigduff single malt originally thought to have been peated whisky from Strathisla, but was eventually said to have been created at Glen Keith This one was distilled in 1973 and aged in a refill sherry butt until 2018, released by the Signatory independent bottlers to celebrate their 30th anniversary.
Tasting Notes,
Nose: Wax, cream, tropical fruits, mellow florals, sandalwood, leather, burning candle wicks, yuzu, mint.
Palate: Medium-bodied, waxy, oily, overripe fruits, cream, pineapple, burning wicks, more herbal at the end with jasmine, yuzu,
Finish: Very long and waxy, occasionally creamy, with dried fruit, a kiss of salt, and burning candle wicks.
