Vaillons is one of the finest, and most popular, Premiers Crus on the left bank of the River Serein, its limestone, clay and gravel soils enjoy a south-easterly exposure which captures all the morning sun. Billauds’ vines are over 70 years old, and in 2021 yielded just 25hl/ha, some 60% down.
