The grapes for this Grenache-based blend are sourced from 20 year old vines in the Rhone Valley, but the addition of 20% Marselan (a cross between Cabernet Sauvignon and Grenache) requires that Le Dix assume the generic "Vin de France" designation. Much like a fine Cotes-du-Rhone, the wine exhibits dense, dark berry flavors with an earthy undertone. Try it with a rosemary lamb burger topped with goat cheese and a garlic aioli.
