40% Chardonnay and 60% Pinot Noir from Verzy, vines from the Montagne de Reims fully classified Grand Cru, this blend gives this Champagne a beautiful balance and harmony. Assembled with 50% reserve wines from a solera (wines reassembled each year) which was started in 1982. The expressive fruit character of this Champagne derives from traditional vinification in stainless steel vats. After three years of aging on lees, this cuvée had developed a full, subtly fruity nose, while the palate perfectly combines the finesse of Chardonnay and the power of Pinot Noir.
Five generations of wine growers have tended 10 hectares of vines - 80% Chardonnay in Villers-Marmery and 20% Pinot Noir in Verzy - with the utmost care and attention. Several years ago, we adopted sustainable methods and we believe that this eco-friendly approach is key to the high-quality Champagnes we produce today. Our aim is to work in a full organic manner and the first step are the Pinot Noir vineyard of which we have started in 2017 the conversion to organic certification.
