Quilt Cabernet Sauvignon is the newest wine produced by Joe Wagner, a 5th generation wine maker who grew up immersed in wine, working during breaks from school at his family's winery, Caymus. Joe's reputation skyrocketed a few years back with the creation of Meiomi and Belle Glos Pinot Noirs, which quickly became household names known for their rich, lush appeal. The Quilt takes a similar approach in style, sourcing from a patchwork of prime Napa Valley vineyards.
Deep dark ruby in color with a hint of brick red around the edges, this wine has striking aromas of dark chocolate, blackberry jam, toasted oak and hazelnut with hints of red berry fruit, baking spices and vanilla.
