Established in Barbados on the white sands of Brighton beach, across from the turquoise Caribbean sea, the West Indies Rum Distillery was founded in 1893. In keeping with the Barbadian heritage of rum-making, the distillery's mission has not changed in almost 130 years: to create the world's best rum using the finest traditional methods.
This exceptionnally rare Barbados rum was selected to showcase the distillery's incompa- rable expertise. Only 286 bottles were drawn from this unique single cask and bottled at natural strength.
Tasting Notes,
Nose: Intense and super rich on tropical fruits, mango, orange peel, passion fruit and vanilla with hints of anise and peach.
Palate: Intense and super rich on tropical fruits, mango, orange peel, passion fruit and vanilla with hints of anise and peach.
Finish: Intense and persistent on rancio, apricot, papaya, tea and peppermint.
