JEB DUNNUCK 97 POINTS - "The 2022 Pinot Noir is gorgeous, and a match for any number of Grand Cru Red Burgundies, which is certainly what it brings to mind when tasting it. Sporting a deeper ruby/garnet hue as well as a stunning nose of black raspberries, darker strawberries, spring flowers, and baking spices, it hits the palate with medium to full-bodied richness, a pure, layered mouthfeel, ripe tannins, and a gorgeous finish. Coming from a challenging year that saw a significant Labor Day heatwave, this nevertheless does everything right. I love it today, yet it will evolve gracefully over the coming 10-15 years."

ANTONIO GALLONI'S VINOUS MEDIA 95 POINTS - "The 2022 Pinot Noir is a selection of the best barrels in the cellar. Yields were down as much as 50% across the ranch, but that imbued the 2022 with even more depth and weight than usual. Sweet black licorice, crushed rocks and macerated cherry/berry fruit settle in, lifted by fresh, citrus-like acidity. The Pisoni seems to propel itself through the mouth, somehow striking a balance between soft, caressing textures and unmistakable brawn. As a wine of complexity, class, and refinement, you can easily feel the pedigree of this site and the careful winemaking here. That said, a year or two in the cellar to untangle some of its many layers wouldn’t hurt."
