VINOUS 93 - 95 POINTS - "The medium-bodied 2022 Saint-Joseph will delight Gonon fans. Pronounced floral notes rise up from the glass, mingling with ripe red fruits, orange rind, cedar and delicate earthy subtleties. Despite the warm vintage, there’s no trace of heat in this refreshing 2022, showing stylistic similarities to the outstanding 2020. Ripe tannins provide excellent grip to what will surely be an energetic and exuberant Gonon with secure aging potential."

DECANTER 94 POINTS - "Relatively light in body for this cuvée, with very fine tannins for the vintage and good acidity. Nice sense of vibrancy, but perhaps not as deep or long as the finest vintages of Gonon's St-Joseph. Enjoyably crisp structure, however, and a lightly mineral finish. There's a possibility this might close down for a period, so drink young or wait until 2030."

JEB DUNNUCK 92 -94 POINTS - "Black raspberries, violets, pepper, and orange blossom-like notes all emerge from the 2022 Saint Joseph, a medium to full-bodied, incredibly elegant Saint Joseph that has solid acidity, a pure, layered, seamless mouthfeel, and outstanding length. Fermented with lots of stems (90%), it's going to warrant 3-5 years of bottle age."
