This cuvée Pertois-Lebrun n°17 comes from Chardonnays from the plot located on the eponymous place “Derrière le Mont Aigu”. Planted in 1955 by Paul Pertois, the grandfather of Antoine and Clément, it is located on the terroir of Chouilly, a Grand Cru classified village of the prestigious Côte des Blancs.
The Chardonnays that make up this cuvée are vinified and aged in sandstone vats (36%) and in oak barrels (64%). The bottles then benefit from a minimum aging of 4 years in the cellars.
This plot cuvée Derrière le Mont Aigu n°17 was bottled in only 1470 copies. Without added sulphites or dosage liqueur, it is the authentic expression of the terroir, the wine and nature.
With its aromas of ripe citrus, its vanilla and toasted notes, this gourmet cuvée will seduce all connoisseurs in search of authenticity.
