PRACTICING ORGANIC FARMING
We're gonna get on our soapbox again, because we think Dolcetto is one of the world's great misunderstood wines. Is it because the wines are grown in Piedmont in the shadow of the great Nebbiolo wines of Barolo and Barbaresco? Is it because Dolcetto is rarely meant to be aged? The virtues in this bottling from Pecchenino are obvious with a purity of blue-fruit and violet perfume wrapped in a satiny texture that would seduce many a Pinot-lover.

JAMES SUCKLING 91 POINTS - "Notes of fresh raspberries and spiced plums with licorice, anisette and dried flowers. Medium-bodied, with a silky finish. Pleasant and attractive."
