An impressive take on the well-known Albarinos of the Rias Baixas region, located in the prestigious Salnes Valley. With attractive floral and yellow stone-fruit aromas, the influence of aging on the lees shows in the creamy, slightly nutty, flavors as well as a contribution to a rounder, softer, fuller texture. Combined with the juiciness of fruit, these serve as counterpoints to the firm structural foundation that Albarinos can have. Both highly drinkable and well-built, this feels like it could gain even more character (such as toasty, honeyed notes) over several years.
