Old Grand-Dad is a classic bourbon, created in the late 19th century by Raymond B. Hayden. He named the brand after his grandfather Meredith Basil Hayden Sr., a well-known distiller in the 18th century, known as the ‘Father of High Rye Bourbon’. The unmistakable portrait of Basil Hayden Sr. is depicted on each bottle. Old Grand-Dad Spanish Export 1981 was produced at the original Old Grand-Dad Distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky. It was bottled in 1981 at 80 proof, and exported to Spain.
