Dried cherry and cinnamon on the aftertaste, sustained by fierce, tense acidity. A great wine. Oddero owns 2ha in Gallina MGA, mostly planted 60 years ago otherwise less than 13 years. South exposition at 200m. The handling is traditional but with delicate extraction and a shorter maceration not longer than 25 days (including fermentation). The wine ages in 40-hectolitre oak vessels for 24 months."

The bouquet is beautiful with a sweet cherry tone that rises above crushed limestone, blue flower and blood orange. There is a dry or almost dusty side to the wine that you feel on the palate especially, but the overall impression it leaves is one of subdued elegance and finesse. This is a special wine with 6,000 bottles released."
