History,In 2006, when Andy and Charlie Nelson drove to a small town in Tennessee to see a butcher, what they found was their destiny. In passing, the two mentioned stories they’d heard about their family’s whiskey business. The butcher, located on Distillery Road, pointed them to the local historian, who proudly showed them two perfectly preserved bottles of Nelson’s Green Brier Tennessee Whiskey produced by their great-great-great grandfather. Time stood still and from that moment on, the brothers have dedicated their lives to resurrecting their ancestor’s top-quality whiskey appreciated by aficionados everywhere.
