JASPER MORRIS 93 - 96 POINTS - "Pale lemon colour, the bouquet takes some searching out, but then it arrives, clearly richer than the premiers crus and with a little more oak. At the moment the wood is a little prominent, one of the two barrels being new. The fruit will work out in the end but this may take some time to marry. Drink from 2028-2036."
BURGHOUND 94 POINTS - "from a .13 ha parcel of vines planted in 1996 and located on the Chassagne side One again there is a smoky component to the nose of acacia, lilac, rose petal, citrus and a hint of sandalwood. The racy, precise and beautifully sleek middleweight flavors are not quite as concentrated though they do display focused power on the lemony and saliva-inducing finish that delivers first-rate depth and persistence. This tightly coiled effort should amply repay extended keeping yet isn't so compact that it couldn't be enjoyed after 5-ish or so years. *Burghound Sweet Spot!*"
