This is Mazzei's original flagship wine, representing the Fonterutoli estate in the heights of Castellina. Here's a very limited time opportunity to enjoy it from an outstanding vintage and in a more mature state (the tasting notes below were at release time). It's gorgeous now, but feel free to hold it a few years longer, as it still has the raw material to develop!

Full body with ripe and chewy tannins, but this remains focused and dialed-in thanks to mouthwatering acidity.
