MARQUIS D'ANGERVILLE 2000 VOLNAY 1ER CRU

WINERY NOTES - The Volnay Village from Domaine Marquis d'Angerville comes from two plots of the Domaine in the Volnay appellation, Les Pluchots and Les Grands Champs, which total almost half a hectare, and are both ideally located on the edge of the Volnay premiers crus. The Volnay Village cuvée also sometimes incorporates (small) first harvests harvested from recently planted premier cru vines (generally up to the eighth harvest). Our Les Pluchots plot was replanted in 2018. Les Grands Champs is a relatively old vine.Our Volnay Village vintage is vinified with the same care as our first growths. The blend of the two plots is harmonious. Raised without new wood to maintain its freshness and liveliness, it is a lively and seductive wine, pleasant to taste after a few years spent in bottle.
