Discontinued in 2012 - this rare and highly collectible bottling opens with aromatic sweet sherry, dark fruits, caramel, and vanilla. The palate beautifully mirrors the nose - light sherry with layers of ripe fruits, caramel, vanilla, and a subtle hint of roasted nuts. A lovely addition to any Macallan collection, the 1700 Series Directors Edition finishes long with pops of citrus, caramel, and spiced wood.
