This Zinfandel is a new wine from Lone Madrone and their first multi-vintage botling. With the idea of combining two of our core vineyards, Bailey Ranch and Klau Mine, they strove to create a well balanced but lush Zinfandel. Fully destemmed, aged sur lie,a touch of American oak, and two of their best dry farmed vineayrds provided them with what they desired.
Dusty Bramble thicket, Red fruits, Rhubarb with wisps of crushed fennel seed. Beautifully bright and juicy, mouthwatering. A pleasant glimmer of tannin, sweetnes of new oak, complex and of length. An alluring impression of serrano fat on the palate. Carried long by the balance of acids.
