History,
Inspired by the Cape Palliser Lighthouse at the southernmost remote tip of New Zealand’s North Island, Lighthouse Gin offers wanderlust flavor seekers a bright, balanced, and unadulterated beacon – an essential gin experience from a remote corner of the world. Every drop of Lighthouse Gin is handmade by Rachel Hall, New Zealand’s first female Head Distiller, and crafted in small batches using natural spring water from the Remutaka Range’s ancient aquifer. Lighthouse Gin contains nine botanicals including hand-zested Yen Ben lemons that gives way to a low juniper, citrus forward taste profile that is clean, fresh, and vibrant
Tasting Notes,
Nose: Subtle citrus, clean pine, and hints of herbaceous notes
Palate: Initial brightness for lemon zest, juniper, and coriander accents, spicy mid-palate of cinnamon and cassia bark
Finish: Soft lingering finish of cinnamon, liquorice root and almond
