WINERY NOTES - In organic farming (AB label) and biodynamic farming (Biodyvin label), we carry out natural vine cultivation without insecticides or synthetic products with plant-based preparations, strongly limiting the use of copper. The soil is cultivated and sown with our preparations and composts. We practise short pruning, in order to obtain small quality yields (on average 25 hl/ha on the farm), strongly expressing the mineral typicity of our terroir. Our red wines have a very original spicy flavour brought by the Pineau d'Aunis grape variety, a historic grape variety of the Loire and our Loir Valley. We use it alone in our cuvées, without blending with other grape varieties. The youngest vines aged from 14 to 50 years old are blended
in the "Garance" cuvée and the old vines from 50 to more than 100 years old give the "Alizari" cuvée, aged in 224l barrels.
Our red wines are most often very aromatic between peppers and red fruits but show a powerful structure. especially with our old vines of Pineau d'Aunis.
