WINE ADVOCATE 92 - 94 POINTS - "Sporting a deep garnet-purple color, the 2019 Les Gravieres opens slowly with subtle notions of stewed plums, baked black cherries and mulberries giving way to emerging scents of black tea, cracked pepper, cedar chest and tobacco leaf. Medium to full-bodied, the palate has a solid structure of firm, ripe, rounded tannins and tons of freshness framing the tightly wound black fruit layers, finishing on a mineral note."

VINOUS 92 - 94 POINTS - " The 2019 Les Gravières is a wine of real class and bearing. Aromatically expansive and creamy, the 2019 opens up beautifully in the glass. Crushed rose petal, cinnamon, raspberry jam, licorice and new leather add freshness to this mid-weight, beautifully expressive Saint-Émilion. Tasted three times."

JEB DUNNUCK 92 - 94 POINTS - " Coming from the talented Denis Barraud and all Merlot, the 2019 Château Les Gravières is a smoking good wine that shows the style and quality of this vintage beautifully. Lots of mulled black cherries, currants, spicy oak, chocolate, and floral notes all emerge from the glass, and it's medium to full-bodied, with a rounded, concentrated yet focused texture, ripe tannins, and a great finish. It's in the same league, if not better than the 2018."
