On the nose, nuances of Kaffir lime zest and anise. The palate consists of orange blossom, lemon meringue filling and a crisp, underlined, well-balanced structure and mouthfeel. Dr. Kenefick enjoys sipping this on his patio in the Summer.

Oxidized
I was intrigued by this 6-year-old Rhône blend (at the time of tasting) because of its origins, blend and producer, from whom I've never tasted a wine. Bottled in clear glass — never a good idea for a white — it showed quite a bit of caramel color. There is obvious oxidation in the nose as well as in the taste, but it made me think of the style of wine that was once favored in traditional Frascati. More like a fino Sherry than a Rhône, if one is accepting of the "old style" of white wine making, this is certainly interesting. However, the wine is on its downside: a warning to the wise.

On its last legs but still interesting

More like a fino Sherry than a Rhône, if one is accepting of the "old style" of white wine making, this is certainly interesting, even enjoyable. However, the wine is certainly on its downside: a warning to the wise.
