KAVALAN AMONTILLADO SHERRY SINGLE CASK 750ML TAIWANESE SINGLE MALT WHISKY

This Solist Amontillado is probably the most nicely packaged whisky we've seen from Taiwanese Distillery King Car / Kavalan. Every cask is specially selected by the master blender for its distinct character and fine distillery quality. Each bottle is meticulously bottled at full cask strength and individually numbered. Nose: Hints of raisin and coconut, toffee, cinnamon and tobacco notes. Palate: opens with a nice burst of sweet fresh fruit, guava and melon - front to mid palate, after which the wood takes over; a Christmas pine hit, the fruit now acting as flamboyant outriders, the caramels rushing in to fill the gap. Finish: long and dry and punches into the throat.
