In Burgundy, family matters. Joseph Colin is the son of a great winemaker, and he's the little brother of one of the best winemakers, Pierre-Yves Colin of PYCM. Think of him as the Prince Harry of White Burgundy. He makes this wine from Burgundy’s less heralded white grape, aligoté. Aligoté yields bright and fresh-tasting wines, especially when it’s grown at altitude in a cold place, like this aligoté is in Saint-Aubin.
TASTING NOTES - Ripe peach, lemon zest, sea salt, biscuits.
How to drink: Chilled alongside soft cheeses or any type of fresh seafood.
