The journey of El Torito begins with the meticulous selection of agaves, handpicked at their peak ripeness. These agaves are then crushed by a modern-day Tahona called "Frankenstein," which imparts a unique character to the tequila. The crushed agave is fermented in a combination of stainless steel and wood tanks, enhancing the complexity of the spirit. The tequila is then distilled in classic copper pots, further refining its purity and depth of flavor.
