Jefferson’s Kentucky Straight Bourbon is distilled, aged and produced in limited runs in Kentucky, before it is blended from a ‘Very Small Batch’ of selected barrels (between 8 - 12) and bottled. The tempting aromas lead with candied tree fruits (peaches, apples, plums), polished wood and vanilla. The palate demonstrates an excellent iteration of the aromas-- soft clean fruit at the front building sharply with elegant spices in creamy vanilla with a burst of wood tannin. The finish is warm and lingers showing cut wood, dry spice and clean vanilla. This elegant, sophisticated bourbon was named to honor our 3rd President, the individual who wrote the Declaration of Independence, Thomas Jefferson so lift a glass in toast.
