The nose shows aromas of toasted oats, strawberries, and sweet cream which transition to a palate of pomegranate molasses, rosemary, and pink peppercorn with a lingering hint of cinnamon

For this limited-edition release, Mars finishes its premier blended whisky, Iwai Tradition, in ex-Pinot Noir and Cabernet casks from its own winery in Yamanashi. This expression retains the peppered backbone of the original Iwai Tradition while replacing its lightly floral notes with delicate baking spice.

Distilled from 70% malted barley and 30% corn and aged in ex-bourbon, sherry, and American oak casks, Mars finishes its premier blended whisky, Iwai Tradition, in ex-wine casks from the Pinot Noir- and Cabernet-producing Mars Winery in Yamanashi. The nose shows aromas of toasted oats, strawberries, and sweet cream which transition to a palate of pomegranate molasses, rosemary, and pink peppercorn with a lingering hint of cinnamon.
