JOHN GILMAN VIEW FROM THE CELLAR 90 POINTS -"The non-vintage Brut Rosé bottling from Laetitia Billiot is crafted from a blend of eighty
percent Pinot Noir and twenty percent Chardonnay, with ten percent of the cuvée still red wine. It
is from the base year of 2018 and includes reserve wines in the blend from both 2017 and 2016.
The vins clairs are raised in stainless and do not undergo malolactic fermentation. The wine was
given thirty-six months aging sur latte and disgorged in January of 2022, with a finishing dosage
of nine grams per liter. The wine is a lovely salmon color and offers up a refined bouquet of
blood orange, rhubarb, rye toast, chalky soil tones, brown spices and a topnote of dried rose
petals. On the palate the wine is bright, zesty and full-bodied, with a good core, fine mineral
undertow and cut, frothy mousse and a long, complex and still quite youthful finish. Good juice..."
