Hennessy Paradis is an extremely delicate and layered cognac. This cognac is a blend of up to a hundred different eaux-de-vie some having aged up to 130 years (a small amount of 130-year-old eaux-de-vie is used). It is not recommended that this cognac be consumed while smoking a cigar seeing that this is much too delicate of a cognac to stand up to a cigar. The nose is soft and melodious with hints of blood orange, hazelnut and candied ginger. 0n the palate the flavor of dried fruits, maple and leather burst on your taste buds. The finish is soft and soothing displaying apricot, cinnamon and light toasted oak notes. We here at Hi-Time feel this is one of those cognacs that are worth the splurge special order
