SMOOTH, BALANCED, CRYSTAL CLEAR
Our smooth and balanced Cristalino Tequila is aged for over six months in new Eastern European oak barrels and finished in Cabernet wine barrels from Napa Valley, California – the state that Kevin calls home. Gran Coramino only uses first-fill barrels during the aging process for more intense oak notes and a controlled flavor. The Tequila is then slow filtered to deliver a crystal-clear color and bright agave notes balanced with mellow oak tones.
HARVEST
Every bottle of Gran Coramino Tequila starts with the same foundation: the piñas (hearts) of hand-selected Blue Weber agaves picked at peak maturity.
Cooking & Fermentation
The piñas are meticulously slowly roasted in traditional stone ovens for up to 40 hours, roller milled to extract the juices and then slowly fermented to offer a distinct flavor and aroma.
Distillation
The fermented juice is then double distilled in copper pot stills for a smooth, refined finish.
