Nose: Thick sherry, tart, unripe walnuts, various herbs, alcohol clearly noticeable, maybe tobacco too. I also find (almost) nothing fruity and sweet. Oak spice only discreetly available. Fresh apples too after a long time. Adding water brings little change, on the contrary: it becomes thinner.
Palate: Surprisingly creamy and sweet-fruity at first, with cherry/plum jam.
Finish: Long lasting, dark fruity sweet with forest herbs, then the tannins take over, espresso to bitterness.
