The youthful curiosity and an element of surprise are replaced by unobtrusive elegance. Dennis Malcom sure knows his Spirits. Being born right on the ground of the Glen Grant distillery, many say he was destined to become only the eighth person to hold this position in 175 years, and he’s been occupying it since 2003.
One of his finest achievements is the Glen Grant 21 Years Old Single Malt. This spectacular whisky is matured in ex-oloroso sherry casks and bourbon barrels of only the highest quality. The maturation takes place in the distillery’s oldest stone dungeon, where the conditions are perfect for a slow maturation that gives the most precious results. Each cask is hand-selected by the legendary Mr. Malcolm before being married in small batches. This whisky is non-chill filtered and bottled at 46% ABV. The depth of flavor and the complexity of this expression is nothing but a display of Dennis Malcom’s spectacular talent.
