For five generations, the Pelissa family have farmed some of the most prized vineyards in the Napa Valley. They proudly farm all 650 acres of their grapes using 100% certified organic practices. Simply put, their mandate is to provide world-class wine by any means possible-- and at competitive prices. The Ghost Block name traces back to the early 1980s when current owner, Andy Hoxsey, was told a story by a retired veteran. The veteran told of a ghost leaving a cemetery adjacent to a vineyard Andy was working, and the ghost traversed through the vineyard and up the hillside. After that story, the vineyard name was changed to Ghost Block, and the rest is history.
