Gary Farrells' Russian River Selection was blended from some of the winery’s top vineyard sources. Anchored by the naturally balanced character of Westside Farms and intriguing floral and stone fruit notes from Bacigalupi Vineyard, the wine’s great concentration and structure derive from the nearby Rochioli and Allen vineyards. Olivet Lane Vineyard, featuring the Wente clone, adds refreshing citrus tones and excellent acidity.
WINE SPECTATOR 90 POINTS - "Bold and aromatic, with honeysuckle, toasted brioche and grilled pineapple on a full body, with firm acidity framing the accents of candied ginger, toffee, ripe, salted melon and peach. Notes of flint and smoke follow through on the finish, where the acidity leaves a fresh impression."
