FUENTESECA RESERVA EXTRA AÑEJO 9 YEARS: 80% distilled in a double copper column and 20% in a copper still. After blending the two distillates, 80% of the product was aged in American white oak barrels that previously aged California red wine and the remaining 15% was aged in French dark oak barrels. These barrels were aged for 9 years at an altitude of 1150 meters above sea level in the city of Tequila, Jalisco in a cool climate underground cellar.
Fuenteseca Extra Añejo 9 Year: Distilled in November 2003, with 80% from copper double-column still and 20% distilled from alembic copper pot still. After marriage, 85% of the run was laid in American white oak previously used to age California red wine, and the remaining 15% barreled in used dark French Oak. The casks were then aged for 9 years, at 3,800” elevation, in the town of Tequila, Jalisco in a cool-climate underground storeroom.
