Fratelli Alessandria's history in Barolo goes back to the mid 1800s with familial connection to the Burlottos. They age for around 3 long years in traditional, larger Slavonian and French oak vats, favoring a moderately pure expression of the fruit.

This mix of vineyards is a supremely approachable introduction to the spirit of Verduno Barolos, as well as a taste of a vintage's character.

KERIN O'KEEFE 93 POINTS - "Aromas recalling forest floor, dog rose, culinary spice and citrus form the alluring nose. Linear and elegant, the savory palate features juicy pomegranate, sour cherry, star anise and white pepper alongside polished tannins. Fresh acidity keeps it balanced. Drink 2027–2032. JEB DUNNUCK 93 POINTS - "Bright ruby in color, the 2020 Barolo Del Comune Di Verduno is fresh with aromas of sweet red strawberries, fresh orange, a hint of pepper, and dried earth. Its freshness and elegance continue on the palate, where this medium-bodied red offers fine tannins, balance, and finesse, with a clean, refined feel of strawberry and spice. A beautiful wine, it’s going to drink well over the coming 10 years." - Audrey Frick
